Matrix Total Results is continuing its commitment to support and empower all through a new alliance with the Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) organization. Look Good Feel Better is a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Matrix Total Results kicked off this partnership in September with the launch of the new Matrix Length Goals products—a range of hair care specifically formulated for the maintenance of extensions and wigs. Through an extensive artistic network and hair education, Matrix will provide meaningful guidance for patients facing the physical challenges that come with diagnosis, treatment and recovery—from the inside out.
This new partnership aims to give all women the tools to feel like their best selves. In addition to a monetary donation, Matrix hair artists will donate their time to collaborate and create how-to videos for the LGFB website in the Beauty Guide section. The LGFB Beauty Guide serves as a resource for breast cancer patients and survivors to learn educational tips on the topics of beauty and lifestyle care tailored specifically for their needs. Matrix artists will create video tutorials that will help guide patients through the basics from choosing, wearing and caring for new hair pieces.
“With a cancer diagnosis there are challenges that occur outside of a doctor’s office and many patients are not ready for the beauty obstacles that come with treatment and care,” said Alfredo Lewis, Matrix artistic ambassador. “Many of these women are faced with wearing wigs and hair pieces for the very first time in their lives and I am excited to be partnering with Matrix to provide education to help guide them through the process and give them confidence to wear these hair pieces with pride.”
Matrix Total Results Length Goals is the newest range from the brand and comes about through a partnership with hair extension leader Bellami Professional. The range maintains every hair extension investment beautifully, starting with pre-application and continuing with a unique, at-home care and styling regime.
The partnership will continue through 2020 and Matrix will work with LGFB on ongoing promotions and initiatives to raise awareness and help people with cancer find a degree of normalcy and joy during treatment and recovery.
