Joining a Dyson hair styling tool, a sleep robot and a nonbinary sex toy, products developed by P&G, Supergoop, Virtue Labs and Atolla have made it to Popular Science’s list of “2019’s most exciting personal care products.”
The list was released along with the publication’s annual Best of What's New Awards. Marking its 32nd anniversary this year, the awards celebrate achievements in 10 categories ranging from aerospace to security.
Based on Happi's markets, notable personal care products picked by Popular Science were:
• Gillette Labs’s Heated Razor, which it unveiled at CES 2019.
• Supergoop’s Shimmershade, an eye shadow with SPF.
• Virtue Labs' ColorKick, a hair filler made with 100% pure human keratin. (See this month’s story, Tress Test, for more on Virtue Labs and its growing range of products).
• Skin Health System by Atolla, a monthly subscription kit that comes with skin analysis tools and sends users a customized serum.
