The report, "The Cost of Beauty Around the World,” compared online beauty prices for 50 countries, tracked five "iconic" products, including Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, Chanel No. 5, Estée Lauder Double-Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF10, MAC Cosmetics Retro Matte Lipstick and Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. UK-based Cosmetify converted local prices to British pounds, where the current exchange rate is: 1 British pound equals $1.356.
China is the most expensive market in the world, where the cost for the five products totaled 316.34 pounds. Canada is the least expensive market for beauty, where total price tag was about 30% less, 197.4 pounds.
