US Patent No. 11,547,658 B2 (Lorraine Legland, Patrick Choisy, Virginie Pecher); LVMH Recherche, Saint-Jean de Brave, France, has patented a kit or device for dyeing or making up keratin fibers, with several separate compartments. In one compartment there is aa dyeing composition A comprising, in a physiologically-acceptable medium, one or more natural dyes selected from the group consisting of neoflavonoids, gallic tannins catechetic tannins, proanthocyanidins, derivatives thereof and, mixtures thereof, and one or more plant extracts containing them. The composition A also contains an agent promoting and/or increasing the penetration of the natural dye into the keratin fibers chosen from among bicyclic ethers, fatty acid esters comprising polyethoxylated C6 to C18 hydrocarbon chains, and mixtures thereof. A separate compartment has composition B that does not comprise an iron and/or aluminum salt. In another separate compartment, there is an iron and/or aluminum salt intended to be mixed extemporaneously with the revealing composition B before application onto keratin fibers. The kit also contains instructions for use, according to the patent literature.
