Why? It is the home to the Museum of Clean, a space dedicated to the world of cleaning and janitorial innovation, created by Don Aslett.
Aslett is an entrepreneur who started his journey in I&I as co-founder of Varsity House Cleaning Company, a house cleaning service that began in the late 1950s. Aslett went on to author many books that specialized in cleaning and housekeeping products, services, and methods.
Unit dose detergent isn't new to the I&I cleaning category....
A mini exhibit of artifacts from museum’s collection was set up at the ISSA Show in Las Vegas last year to mark the Association’s 100th anniversary. It offered just a glimpse of what’s inside the city-block wide building in Pocatello.
The display showcased historical products—from Fuller furniture polish and a "miracle wall cleaner" to ad display signs to equipment.
The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
