CeraVe ups the ante with an anti-aging range for sensitive skin.
“Have the Skin You’ve Always Dreamed About” was the theme of this event.
John Reed, senior brand manager for CeraVe, gave a brief overview of the four skin care products in the new anti-aging collection. This consists of a serum, night cream, facial cleanser and bar soap. “We are very excited about this launch as CeraVe is a cornerstone brand at the company,” he said.
Dr. Laurence Dryer, director of portfolio development at Valeant Pharmaceuticals and upcoming speaker at Happi’s anti-aging conference, then offered an overview of components. For example, in the serum, the company used vederine, a vitamin D analog, for additional barrier support along with 1% encapsulated retinol.
Pictured is the CeraVe Renewing Cream Serum from the previous slide. It features the benefits of a moisturizer plus the anti-aging components of a serum—a 2-in-1 deal for consumers.
The brand is very excited about this bar launch. This soap-free formulation can be used head to toe and features 5% moisturizing cream, said Dryer.
