Asian beauty brands are hot commodities in the US, and shoppers can get their fix from some of the biggest brands inside, of all places, Disney’s Epcot! Here’s a look at some of the products stocked at the amusement park’s Japan pavilion.
This Korean lip care SKU, Pure Smile Choosy Lip Pack, is billed as sheet mask for the lips that reduces fine lines and leave lips moisturized. Ingredients include grapefruit seed extract, bambusa textilis stem extract and hydrolyzed collagen.
Japan’s No. 1 hair wax, Gatsby Moving Rubber, which has been expanding its international reach over the past several years, can be found inside the Japan pavilion at Epcot. Mandom created the brand in 1978, and according to company lore, then-president Hikoji Nishimura named it after the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel.
Kraice traces its cosmetics and toiletries business back to 1936 and products such as Savon de Soie soap. Inside Epcot, tourists can find the company’s Hadabisei skin care brand, which offers face masks, like this one formulated with hyaluronic acid.
Another hyaluronic acid mask was available from Kosé Cosmeport.
Shiseido’s Tsubaki shining shampoo and conditioner were also in the Epcot shop. Tsubaki means camellia flower, which is revered in Japan and is reportedly rich in Omega-6 linoleic fatty acids.
