Household and Personal Care Marketers Launch Holiday 2022 Gifts

Seasonal products span from stocking stuffers to advent calendars.

Holiday gift-giving is a profit center for cosmetics and fragrance marketers. But shoppers right now are being more discerning due to the current economy.

Highlights from WSL’s new national survey on holiday shopping shows that no more than 15% of consumers plan to spend more across the fall and December holidays. And, December gift-giving will see shoppers craving saving cash.
           
According to Wendy Liebmann, CEO at WSL, “Shoppers will work harder to save during the December holidays. Conveniently clicking and buying gifts online will be replaced with walking the stores to find great bargains; doing more online research before buying, choosing less expensive gifts and braving the stores and sites on Black Friday and all the sales that lead up to Black Friday.”
