See which brands from the beauty, personal care and household cleaning industries earned the coveted distinction in 2023.

Landing International, a b2b tech platform based in LA that equips retail workers with the right tools to succeed, reached No. 2,814 with a three-year growth rate of 189%.

Atlanta, GA-based personal care company Goodwipes came in at No. 1,156. The purveyors of eco-friendly, flushable wipes with botanical extracts saw a three-year growth rate of 513%.

Coming in at No 4,388 is Cocofloss. The California-based oral care company that makes eco-conscious products that make oral hygiene care fun saw a three-year growth rate of 98%.

Ranking No. 3,947 is CC Wellness. The pharmaceutical company based in California specializing in intimate wellness formulation saw a three-year growth rate of 118%.

Bug Bite Thing ranked in at No. 1,775 with a three-year growth rate of 314%. Based in Port St. Lucie, FL, the company makes a chemical-free reusable insect bite relief tool alleviates swelling from bug bites.

Coming in at No. 82 is Athena Club with a three-year growth rate of 5,561%. The omni-channel personal care one-stop-shop is based in New York, NY.

Scents of Serenity Organic Spa came in at No. 2,370. The provider of luxury spa services based out of Glen Allen, VA saw a 233% growth rate in three years.

Coming in at No. 4,841 was DefenAge Skincare. Created by experts in regenerative medicine, the brand based out of Carlsbad, CA saw a three-year growth rate of 79%.

WellBizBrands, based out of Denver, CO, was ranked No. 4,782 with a three-year growth rate of 82%. Its brands include DryBar Amazing Lash Studio and Radiant Waxing.

Rebel Green, maker of natural household cleaning products out of Mequon, WI, ranked in at No. 4,633 with a three-year growth rate of 87%.

The Lewis Chemical Company, based in Rome, GA, is a manufacturer of surfactant chemistries. It ranked No. 3,493 with a three-year growth rate of 142%.

Skin care company Crown Laboratories, based in Johnson City, TN, ranked No. 3,492 on the list with a three-year growth rate of 142%.

Klar and Co, a New York City-based supplier of non-major brand skin care, came in at No. 3,388 and saw a three-year growth rate of 148%.

Ashley Black Guru came in at No. 3,227. Based in Houston, TX, the personal care brand, which creates kits for hair, face and cellulite, saw a three-year growth rate of 158%.

At No. 3,169 is Soapbox Soaps. The personal and hair care brand based out of Washington, DC saw a three-year growth rate of 162%.

Clinical skin care brand Vitality Institute came in at No. 3,148 with a three-year growth rate of 163%. The brand was founded by Dr. Abdala Khalil, an emergency room doctor who created a custom chemical peel for his eldest daughter.

Sustainable hair brand Hairstory based in New York, NY, which makes detergent-free shampoos, came in at No. 2,778 with a three-year growth rate of 192%. This summer, the company brought in a slew of new C-suite execs with experience at Creed, L’Oréal and Olaplex.

Personal care company Primal Life Organics based in Copley, OH came in at No. 2,653 with a three-year growth rate of 203%. Products teeth whiteners, floss picks and silicone mouth guards.

Coming in at No. 2,443 is Facial Lounge Group. Based in Corona Del Mar, CA, the provider of organic skincare and treatments saw a three-year growth rate of 224%.

Based in Concord, CA, hair care brand Innersense Organic Beauty came in at No. 2,427 with a three-year growth rate of 225%. Its Hydrating Cream Conditioner and I Create Lift Volumizing Foam are bestsellers.

Clean beauty and fragrance brand By Rosie Jane based in Glendale, CA, ranked in at 2,297 with a three-year growth rate of 240%.

PHD Feminine Health ranked No. 2,252. The Madison, TN-based company’s three-year growth rate was 245%.

Coming in at No. 1,903 is Rael Beauty. The company, based in Buena Park, CA, makes high-performance personal care products including its anti-aging sheet masks serving different functions from brightening to collagen production.

Clean makeup and skincare line Winky Lux, based out of Miami, FL, ranked No. 1,828 with a growth rate of 306%. Bestsellers include the Glitter Confetti pH Lip Balm and Cheeky Rose blush.

Renowned makeup artist Patrick Ta’s namesake beauty company, located in West Hollywood, CA, came in at No. 1619 with a three-year growth rate of 347%. The luxury cosmetics company is currently sold at Sephora North America and Sephora at Kohl's and has a strong consumer base on Patrickta.com in the US.

Ranking in at No. 1,304 was Wild Willies Brand. The Alpharetta, GA-based men’s grooming and beard care brand had a three-year growth rate of 449%.

Known for its viral eyebrow stamp and clean makeup line, Gilbert, AZ-based Madluvv ranked in at No. 827 with a three-year growth rate of 717%.

Coming in at No. 571 is Beauty Culture Med Spa. The company, based in Bloomfield Hills, MI, is a full-service spa and beauty practice with non-invasive surgical services. Its three-year growth rate was 1,027%.

Coming in at No. 561 is Beauty Society. Founded by Jeannie Lorin, the so-called “company with a conscience” carries proven products that contain the highest performing ingredients and eco-friendly refills for which trees are planted for each sold. Packing materials are biodegradable. Based in Las Vegas, NV, the cruelty-free skincare and cosmetics company had a three-year growth rate of 1,046%.

Hispanic and woman-founded personal care brand based in Miami, FL, Touchland, came in at No. 367 with a three-year growth rate of 1,573%. Best known for its Power Mist Moisturizing Hand Sanitizers, the brand, which consistently outperformed sale forecasts in Sephora, was displayed in dedicated Beauty on the Fly endcaps in all Sephora locations earlier this year.

Los Angeles-based hair wellness brand Vegamour ranked No. 208 with a three-year growth rate of 2,600%. The brand entered a strategic partnership with actress Nicole Kidman in 2022, who joined the company as an investor and brand advocate. As part of its global expansion plans, Vegamour launched nationally into more than 400 Sephora doors and extended to the UK, Europe, China and Australia.

Dossier, an affordable luxury perfume brand crafted with high quality ingredients from France based in New York, NY, came in at No. 31. The company had a three-year growth rate of 10,300%.

Inc. Magazine compiled its annual 5000 list for 2023. Ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022, qualified companies are independent and based in the US with a minimum revenue generation of $100,000 in 2019, and $2 million for 2022.

See which brands from the beauty, personal care and household cleaning industries made the coveted list. The list culminates with $358 billion in 2022 revenue; the creation of over 1.18 million jobs; and a median growth of 219%. The list includes 3,047 repeat honorees and 638 newly founded companies.
