Beiersdorf: Stefan F. Heidenreich will take over as CEO following the annual general meeting. Thomas-B. Quaas, who has been CEO of Beiersdorf since 2005, will remain in office until the end of the annual general meeting, after which the plan is for him to be elected to the supervisory board. He has been with the firm for 33 years.
Heidenreich was formerly CEO of the international Hero Group.
Also at the company, Tina Jackse was promoted to the newly created position of vice president, global sales, Walmart where she will be responsible for all Walmart business internationally. She will work collaboratively across the Beiersdorf affiliates around the world to help lead, develop and further strengthen Beiersdorf’s Walmart business globally. Most recently, Jackse was senior director national accounts, drug, club and value. She joined Beiersdorf Inc. in 1989 and has held several senior sales positions with increasing responsibility.
To replace Jackse, Mike Voaden recently joined Beiersdorf as senior director of national accounts. Voaden comes to Beiersdorf from Alberto-Culver (Unilever) where he spent a large portion of his more than 25 years of extensive sales experience leading large teams that grew the business across all channels and developed substantial new business opportunities.
Beiersdorf Inc. also appointed Joe Oliveri as VP-sales. He will lead the sales organization for Beiersdorf USA, working closely existing customers, generating new business opportunities and identifying new avenues for sales growth. He will join the US leadership team. Before joining Beiersdorf, Oliveri worked for several years at The Dannon Company where as VP-sales, national accounts, he was responsible for the company’s largest and most strategic customer base. Prior to that, Oliveri spent more than 12 years with Great Brands of Europe/Evian North America, where he held progressively responsible roles in regional sales, sales planning, division and national sales management—ultimately becoming VP-sales for Evian North America.
