Procedure | |
Slowly add Pemulen TR-1 to water. Mix until homogenous using high speed agiation (Approximately 20 minutes) Add remaining phase A raw materials and heat Phase A to 80°C. Mix until homogenous. Add all phase B ingredients to a separate beaker. Heat to 80-85°C. Mix until homogenous. Add phase B to phase A while both are ~ 80- 85°C under high speed agitation. (Approximately 3 minutes) Homogenize for 2-4 minutes, avoid aeration. Remove from heat. Allow to cool to 50°C using sweep mixing. Add Phase C premix (Viscosity will increase due to change in pH). Continue sweep mixing and mix until RT. | |
