UNITED KINGDOM: Croda will showcase its latest product launches at SCS Formulate exhibition in Coventry, UK, including Volarest FL. This unique polymer delivers controlled, targeted delivery from sprayable emulsions, novel textures that excite the user and the weightless suspension of emollients and beads in low viscosity fluids, according to Croda.
The company will display its OleoCraft Polymers, a range of oil structuring polymers that create impressive films on the skin, lips and eyelashes, providing water and wear resistance in color cosmetic and sun care applications, and DuraQuench IQ, scientifically balanced moisturization complex. OleoCraft Polymers’ low color and low odor high performance thermoplastic solids are proven to form clear, thermo-reversible gels. OleoCraft polymers can be used to create novel formats, from eye-catching clear sticks and balms to sprayable gels and emulsions with real consumer benefits. DuraQuench IQ, provides an innovative approach to effective moisturization from both leave-on and wash-off systems.
In addition, the firm will display Arlamol LST, the first in a new line of sensory driven emollients which has an exceptionally light feel and a high degree of skin spreading. The ether chemistry of this super fluid gives it broad pH tolerance and compatibility with actives for overall formulation versatility, said the company.
In other news, Croda was presented with a Most Influential Supplier Award and the Innovative Enterprise Award by the China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI). The winner was selected by a 41-member judging panel, and selection criteria included the company’s contribution to the chemical industry and the advancement of technology.
