Demand in the U.S. for cosmetic and toiletry containers is expected to grow 2.6% a year to 23 billion units in 2007.
“Cosmetic and Toiletry Containers,” a report from The Freedonia Group, Cleveland, noted that the strongest prospects exist in the skin care and liquid soap markets.
The advances reflect healthy growth in cosmetic and toiletry product shipments and the further development of nontraditional sales channels, executives said.
The company added that plastics, the dominant container material in most cosmetic and toiletry markets, will continue to represent the growth segment of the industry.
