    BFA Industries, the company behind Ipsy, BoxyCharm and brand incubator Madeby Collective, has launched Refreshments, a new clean, cruelty-free and 100% vegan product line that includes hand and body cream, body wash, face wipes, a razor kit and shave cream.
     
    Ahead of the launch, BFA piloted a members-only subscription option for the new line to a small portion of IPSY’s three million-plus members. The San Mateo-based company said it received more than 150,000 sign-ups within the first 30 days. 

    "Beauty and makeup have long been associated with self-expression and experimentation, while personal care has lagged far behind," said Sabeen Mian, SVP of Refreshments. "With Refreshments, we wanted to inject fun and personality into the bathroom with products that anyone and everyone can feel good about using.” 
     
    Refreshments products are available a la carte on Refreshments.com or via subscription to IPSY members, who will be able to customize their order frequency and assortment each month, personalized for their routines. 
    The new Luxe Razor Starter Kit  featuring a razor handle, shower holder, and two 5-blade. Pearly Body Wash, is formulated with  shea butter, vitamin C and olive oil, while the Pillowy Shave Cream features shea butter, olive oil and lemon fruit extract.

    To celebrate the launch, Refreshments has teamed up with Jonathan Adler and The Skinny Confidential on a sweepstakes to give away a $750 Jonathan Adler gift card, the entire Refreshments collection and a full-year subscription to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.
