This April, Cover Girl is celebrating Earth Month with a limited-edition collection.
The Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Balms are getting a makeover with limited edition shades and names inspired by Mother Nature. The Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara and Clean Fresh Powders are also getting an upgrade with packaging made from FSC-certified paper from well-managed forests.
From being the largest makeup brand to be Leaping Bunny Certified by Cruelty-Free International, launching vegan products, and reducing plastic packaging on their powder compacts, Cover Girl is again taking another stride to being a sustainable brand.
The vegan, sheer, tinted lip balm is a staple for moisturized lips all year long. Inspired by Earth Day and America’s most well-known trees, each balm is infused with hydrating ingredients like pomegranate oil and hyaluronic complex to help lock in moisture and give a hint of color.
Clean Fresh Tinted Lip Balms ($7) inspired by nature include the following:
No tint in Earth’s Mighty Oak, Under a Juniper Tree, and Leaves You Smiling;
Pink/red tint in Beneath Cherry Blossoms, Red Maple Bloom and Deep Into Redwoods;
Clean Fresh Pressed Powder ($8.99) is formulated without unnatural ingredients like talc, parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, mineral oil and sulfates. Lightweight enough to avoid any caking all while delivering a flawless finish that lasts all-day. Press on to absorb oil and achieve the freshest, most natural-looking skin.
Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara ($7.99-$10.99) Formulated without parabens, sulfates, talc, and mineral oil, the FSC-certified mascara with packaging made from 80% recycled paper from well-managed forests and infused with argan and marula oils will leave lashes feeling conditioned.
