Glossier products will be stocked in Sephora stores next year, the company announced last week on its Instagram page.
The fast-rising beauty brand—which garnered much attention from beauty and fans and investors alike—has had its share of troubles since the covid-19 pandemic hit, with store closures and layoffs. This May, founder CEO Emily Weiss announced that she would be stepping down from her post. She named Kyle Leahy as her successor.
The Sephora alliance is the beauty brand’s first retail partnership. Glossier products are expected on shelves in Sephora stores in the US and Canada in early 2023 and will also be sold online and through Sephora’s app.
In 2019, Glossier claimed a spot in the Happi Top 50 Report.
