There’s another way for consumerss get beauty benefits from the inside out. Enhanced water brand Core has launched new Core Hydration+, a trio of new beverages that combine hydration and functional benefits.
This new launch offers more proof of the growing wellness segment, including beverages with benefits beyond hydration.
Available in three flavors, the Core waters offer support three areas of wellness— mmunity, hair/skin/nail health and relaxation.
The range includes Core Hydration+ Vibrance, which helps supports healthy skin, hair and nails. It is formulated with biotin, vitamin C, vitamin B7 and zinc. It has a hint of taste from natural pink grapefruit extract.
Also available is Core Hydration+ Immunity, which contains vitamin C and zinc with a hint of taste from natural lemon extract to protect immune health, and Core Hydration+ Calm, which infused with L-theanine to help support relaxation with a clean cucumber taste from natural cucumber essence. All flavors have zero calories, no sugar or sweeteners and come in a 100% recycled plastic bottle.
Core, which was founded in 2015, is owned by Keurig Dr. Pepper. It acquired the upscale water brand for $525 million in 2018.
In the US, bottled water sales rose 12.7% to $22.5 billion in multi-outlets with c-stores, according to recent data from Information Resources, Inc. Non-flavored still and flavored still dollar sales rose at nearly identical rates of 15.3% and 15.2%, respectively.
