Hockmeyer equipment corporation, known for building state-of-the-art immersion media mills, dispersers and mixers, has introduced a new equipment line: the Nexgen Rotor Stator.
The patented technology [patent #11,110,409] achieves maximum particle deagglomeration and dispersion by combining mechanical and vacuum forces. While the powerful shear tears up agglomerates, the vacuum removes the air trapped inside. Liquid fills the void, encapsulating each particle, achieving thorough wetting and enhanced stability.
In the 10-liter model, the 12-inch rotor pumps up to 300 gpm @ s.g. 1 with tip speeds up to 5000 fpm. These properties plus the tight tolerance between the rotor and the stator create the ideal environment to maximize deagglomeration and dispersion. Ideal for developing dispersions of tough-to-grind materials to continue to nano milling.
