The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) will host its second annual Science Symposium on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 8 am to noon.
Attendees will have the chance to meet collaborators Isabelle Lee, Maura Lavelle, Isabella Schember who will join RIFM’s Skin Sensitization Team for “Breakout: New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for Potency Assessment in Skin Sensitization.”

Andy Forreryd is the key account manager and scientific liaison, SenzaGen; Andreas Natsch is head of In Vitro Molecular Screening, fragrance & beauty, Givaudan; Cindy Ryan is the owner, ToxTech Solutions; and Shashi Donthamsetty is the senior lead toxicologist, IFF.
RIFM’s Photo Safety Team (Gretchen Ritacco, Chaitra Deodhar) will welcome Allison Hilberer, senior toxicologist and study director, Institute for In Vitro Sciences, to Strategic New Approach Methodologies in Photo Safety.
Stefan Pfuhler, R&D senior director research fellow, Procter & Gamble, joins RIFM’s Genotoxicity Team (Yax Thakkar) to present the work done on Naturals as a Collaboration in the HESI Botanical Safety Consortia (Genotoxicity Subgroup).
