Procedure | |
Prepare Phase B in the main vessel by hydrating for 30 minutes and neutralizing the polymer. Weigh Phase A and heat to 80°C. Add Phase A1 to heated Phase A and mix well. Weigh and add Phase C to the main vessel. Add Phase B and heat to 80°C while mixing. Maintain temperature for 5 minutes. When both Phase C and A are at temperature, add A to C, and homogenize for 3 minutes. Add Phase D to the main vessel and continue to mix. After 25 minutes, cool down to 45°C. Add Phase E and homogenize for 1 minute. Adjust final pH between 5.5 to 6.0. Mix until cool and uniform. | |
