Febreze Adds No Spill Wood Diffuser

The Febreze Home Collection has been expanded with a No Spill Wood Diffuser. The No Spill Wood Diffuser is available in willow blossom, pomegranate mango, green tea citrus and honeysuckle orchid scents. The new product and the entire Febreze Home Collection is available only at Walmart from now through September 2010 and then at major retailers nationwide starting in September. Prices range from $14.99-$16.99.

Colgate Launches ProClinical Oral Care Range

Colgate-Palmolive has launched Colgate ProClinical, a new line of“professionally inspired” daily toothpastes. The range features three variants: Daily Whitening for removing surface stains, Daily Cleaning for polishing teeth and Daily Renewal for Enamel for fortifying enamel. Key ingredients include ProLuminex crystals, billed by Colgate as its highest level of high performance whitening silica; Prophy Silica micro-buffers, an ingredient similar to what dentists use; and ProMinerals complex, which is comprised of the highest level of fluoride available in a daily toothpaste without a prescription, according to the company. Colgate ProClinical toothpaste is currently available at mass retailers and grocery stores for $3.99 (mass) and $4.49 (food/drug).

Crabtree & Evelyn Rolls Out Heritage Soap Collection

Crabtree & Evelyn has launched the new Heritage Soap Collection, a range of embossed triple-milled soaps and jewel-toned glycerin soaps that celebrate the fine art of traditional soap-making.
 Inspired by Crabtree & Evelyn’s archives, these original formulas combine timeless fragrances with modern skin care expertise, and are free of parabens, lauryl sulfates, mineral oil, and propylene glycol, according to the company. The tripled milled soaps ($7) come in Crabapple & Mulberry, Oatmeal & Wheatgerm and Vetiver & Juniperberry, while the glycerin soap ($7) varieties include Chamomile, Lime and Blackcurrant.

Julep’s ‘Sex and the City’ Inspired Nail Lacquers

Inspired by characters in “Sex and the City,” Julep Nail Parlor has added four new shades: Carrie, Amanda, Charlotte and Samantha ($7.25 each; $24.50 for set of four). Carrie is a refreshing cotton-candy pink; Miranda, a modern pastel green; Charlotte, innocent lavender, and Samantha, a sizzling hot fuchsia. They are formulated to be free of parabens, toluene and DBP.

Udder Sticks in New Scents

Dr. Hess’s Udder Ointment, North Salt Lake, UT, has added three flavors—pomegranate, mango and vanilla mint—to its Udder Sticks line of healing lip care products. Based on the original recipe, the new balms also include SPF 15 to protect the lips from UV rays.

Herbalife Adds Hand Sanitizer

Herbalife Ltd. has rolled out a botanical-based hand sanitizer in a spray form. The alcohol-, paraben- and triclosan-free spray features a botanical blend of white tea, white water lily, olive and burdock with a fresh mango scent. Herbalife is offering the sanitizer in a 1oz. “on-the-go” size for $5.50.

Leap Organics Releases Line of Bar Soaps

Leap Organics, an organic skin care company based in Cambridge, MA, has launched its first line of tripled-milled organic bar soaps. Available this month, the new bar soaps come in three unique scents, each infused with 100% certified organic essential oils such as lavender, lemongrass, and eucalyptus, which provide soothing, aromatherapy-like effects. The soaps, which are vegan, cruelty-free, and not tested on animals, are housed in packaging that is 100% recyclable and manufactured using 100% wind energy. Packaging is made with 50% post-consumer recycled material and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), according to the firm.
