Procter & Gamble’s Febreze is reaching out to service men and women abroad this Valentine’s Day by partnering with Macaroni Kid’s Military Family network and Operation Gratitude to send 60,000 Set & Refresh products. Among other necessities, Febreze is a top item requested by military serving overseas to help freshen uniforms and barracks, according to the company.
Febreze’s partnership with Macaroni Kid and Operation Gratitude is an extension of Febreze’s Breathe Happy campaign. For the Military Family network project, the brand is supporting 15 military care package events nationwide, by providing Set & Refresh product samples for inclusion in care packages. At each event, families will send Valentine messages along with snacks and essentials to troops abroad.
“Valentine’s Day is a great time to show our nation’s troops and their families our appreciation by helping them breathe happy wherever they may be,” said External Relations Manager Jeff Pierce, Febreze. “We hope that these care packages and products bring comfort to those serving overseas and encourage all Febreze fans to visit the Facebook page to participate through a virtual donation to the troops.”
