State Industrial Products plans to move its corporate offices in Cleveland to Mayfield Heights, a suburb ten miles east of the city. The move, planned for this Fall, will help expedite the company's continuing expansion, the firm said yesterday.
"Our move complements the recent opening of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hebron, Ohio, along with a dozen acquisitions of regional industrial cleaning suppliers," said Hal Uhrman, president and chief executive officer of State Industrial Products."The new offices, already wired with essential high-speed Internet services, will enhance our operational efficiency, working conditions, and teamwork."
State Industrial has been in its current offices since 1966. The new 80,000-sq. ft, four-story, glass-sheathed headquarters building is on Landerbrook Drive in the Landerbrook Corporate Office Park. Built in 1988, State Industrial purchased it at auction last week for slightly more than $4 million, the company said.
