In light of the signing of new high-potential fragrance licenses, ID Beauty has created its own structure to handle operations in the US, according to the Paris-based cosmetics corporation.
These new additions to the ID Beauty portfolio build on its existing holdings, including: the license for Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF) fragrances; distribution for Paul Smith fragrances; Rexaline, a directly held skin care brand; and other revolutionary high tech cosmetic brands under development to be launched in 2013, said the company.
The ID Beauty operations are handled from its Miami-based office. ID Beauty has named Armineh Lascu as vice president, sales. Lascu has worked in the US and international markets for more than 20 years at brands including YSL, Guerlain, Judith Leiber, Bijan and Juicy Couture. Philippe Kalifa, vice president of ID Beauty in the US, remains in charge of all logistics and financial aspects of operations.
The ID Beauty US office reports to ID Beauty Group in Paris, helmed by CEO Alexandre Cukier and managing director Pierre-Yves Brézillon. Chantal Roos oversees all marketing strategy for the fragrances.
