Nuele, a natural and non-toxic hair care company, has achieved the Made Safe seal for its Hair Serum.
Nuele’s Hair Serum is a multipurpose serum that promises zero synthetic ingredients and zero water dilution in its formula. This lightweight, residue-free Hair Serum is a scientifically crafted blend of five concentrated oils— Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Moringa Oil, Rosemary Oil and Clary Sage— that detangle, repair, enrich and protect the full spectrum of wavy, curly and coily hair types.
Made Safe goes beyond claims like, “clean,” “green,” “natural” and “eco” that aren’t defined and can mean many different things, as well as single-chemical claims like “paraben-free” or “BPA-free,” investigating every single ingredient and sub-ingredient in a product. Nuele offers only 100% natural ingredients, natural fragrance and no parabens, sulfates, alcohol, GMOs, cyclic silicones and phthalate’s. Additionally, Nuele is working with local female farmers in Ghana and Morocco to source ingredients and help boost local economies and in turn minimize environmental impact.
“We are very excited to have the Made Safe seal associated with our hair serum,” said Dr. Christine Martey-Ochola, CEO and co-founder of Nuele. “Nuele was created after my co-founder and CFO Anne Cheatham and I were unable to find a quality, all-natural hair product that not only worked for our hair and body, but had the added benefit of being able to style our hair. Our groundbreaking formula for our hair serum only contains organic, natural ingredients, so it makes sense for us to align with the Made Safe ethos.”
The Made Safe seal is an independent, scientific, third-party verification that screens products for toxic chemicals known to harm human and ecosystem health. The Made Safe seal empowers shoppers to identify items that have been screened for chemicals known to harm human health, animals, aquatic life and ecosystems. Nuele joins companies from across the personal care, baby and household product categories to use this certification.
The Made Safe certified Hair Serum is available on Nuelehair.com.
