The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will hold a public meeting on June 5 to solicit input on topics that may be relevant for further discussion at the upcoming ICCR-13 Meeting. Input gathered at this meeting will help the agency prepare for the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation-13 (ICCR-13) meeting, which is scheduled for July 9-11 in Montreal.
The closing date to register for attendance or to request to make an oral presentation is May 22. Members of the public may attend the meeting either in person or by phone, however there will be no presentations by phone.
ICCR is a voluntary international group of cosmetics regulatory authorities from Brazil, Canada, the European Union, Japan, and the US. ICCR members work together to make decisions through consensus that will be compatible with the laws, policies, rules, regulations and directives of the respective administrations and governments. The FDA encourages members of the public to present proposals for future ICCR agenda items and/or data, information, or views on pending issues orally or in writing at the public meeting.
The June 5 meeting will be held from 2-4 pm at the Harvey W. Wiley Federal Building in College Park, MD.
