Comments: Alcora is the corporation behind Monat. Monat’s top markets in 2022 were the US, Canada and Europe, including the UK. The company continues to expand its reach globally. In 2021 it launched in Australia, Spain and Lithuania. In late 2022, Monat added New Zealand. In April 2023, France was added to the roster.
“Following the successful launch in certain European countries, we know the time is right to expand into France and build on the self-confidence and financial well-being business model we’re becoming known for. Our extensive research has shown us that France has strong potential to both embrace our business program and ensure another successful expansion,” Tamila Kerimova, SVP&GM for Monat Europe, said in a statement.
Earlier this year Monat donated more than $90,000 in net profits from the sales of its More than a Lather by Monat body cleansing bars. The funds benefit nonprofit organizations in the three areas of children, education and families, which are the core giving pillars of Monat’s philanthropic entity, the Monat Gratitude Foundation.
“I firmly believe in the power and importance of investing in our youth,” said Lu Urdaneta, who is Monat’s chief culture officer and CEO of Monat Gratitude Foundation. “By donating funds to programs that support their growth and development, we are not only shaping the future of our communities but also creating opportunities for a better world. Through these efforts, we’re able to help empower the next generation to reach their full potential.”
In more philanthropy news, more than 200 volunteers from Monat’s network of independent distributors helped build more than 30 bikes for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada during Monat’s annual Reunion event in Las Vegas. Reunion attendees also collected 1,000 gently-used handbags to donate to local nonprofits serving women and girls, including Dress for Success Southern Nevada, HopeLink of Southern Nevada, and Project 150. Monat Gratitude Foundation included travel-sized products and gratitude notes in each bag.
