Givaudan, the Swiss flavors and fragrances company, reported 2004 sales of $2.26 billion, a gain of less than 1% over 2003. The fragrance division posted sales of $903.3 million, up 1.4% over 2003. Givaudan attributed the growth to its fine fragrance and consumer products businesses.
The company said its program to improve operating margins has been successful and “will deliver additional savings in 2005.”
