Playtex Products Inc. announced a net loss for the fourth quarter, largely due to several charges and a dip in revenue. Net loss for the fourth quarter was $12 million, more than reversing a profit of $37.5 million in 2004. Last year’s results included a gain on the sale of Woolite brand assets. Revenue for the fourth quarter fell 5% to $133.5 million. For the full year, revenue fell more than 3% to $643.8 million. Net income plunged to $12.5 million, down from $55.5 million.
