Swisher Hygiene, a provider of essential hygiene and sanitation products and services, has acquired Pilgrim Dust Control, a South Florida-based linen company.
Pilgrim was founded in 1990 in West Palm Beach and provides linen and
facilities services throughout South Florida, including the rental of
floor mats, mops and towels and the sale of paper and hygiene products
to foodservice, retail, hospitality and healthcare customers.
"We continue to expand our full service coverage and strong presence in
South Florida through the acquisition of Pilgrim," said Steven R.
Berrard, chief executive officer of Swisher Hygiene. "We are very
pleased to provide additional capabilities and avenues to cross-sell
our products to our potentially new and currently existing customers."
Total consideration paid by Swisher Hygiene in connection with the
acquisition includes $3.1 million in cash and the assumption of certain
liabilities.
