BELGIUM: Taminco and Temix have signed a distribution agreement appointing Temix as Taminco’s exclusive distributor for its line of fatty tertiary amines (DIMLA 1214 and other chain lengths) in South America, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and South Africa.
Taminco, which produces tertiary amines at plants in Ghent, Belgium and Pace, FL, will continue to sell on a direct basis elsewhere.
“Temix is a very experienced, knowledgeable, and well-respected company and we are pleased they have decided to represent our products,” said Robert Ash, Taminco’s business manager for surfactants. “They’ve been marketing tertiary amines, fatty acids and alcohols, and other oleochemicals for years and we felt partnering with Temix would allow us to sell our tertiary amines more effectively on a global basis. ”
“It’s definitely a great opportunity for Temix to represent a reputable producer like Taminco; we are proud to be part of Taminco’s sales network,” added Roberto Cella, managing director of Temix.
