Brand Finance recently released its Cosmetics 50—an annual ranking the world's most valuable cosmetics brands.

L'Oréal tops the list, followed by Estée Lauder. Gillette, Nivea and Guerlain round out the top five. The rest of the top 10 include Clinique, Dove, Pantene, Lancôme and Garnier.

L'Oréal is – again – the world’s most valuable cosmetics brand, but with consumers forecast to increase spending as they re-emerge from the pandemic, the brand has significant growth opportunities. The key challenge for new CEO (Nicolas) Hieronimus will be to serve as an effective brand guardian for L'Oréal as it seeks to return to growth, especially throughout Asia,” said Annie Brown, associate director at Brand Finance.

Here's a look at the 50 most valuable cosmetics brands in the world.
